Bravo Health Medicare Advantage Membership Surpasses 100,000

Insurer Reaffirms Commitment to Serving Medicare Beneficiaries

(BALTIMORE, MD — July 26, 2010) — Bravo Health, a provider of Medicare Advantage plans dedicated to offering beneficiaries access to high quality, cost-effective health care, announced today that membership in its Medicare Advantage plans has grown to more than 100,000 members. Bravo Health offers the plans in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington, D.C.

"Reaching this milestone is a strong indicator of Bravo Health's ability to thrive in the Medicare Advantage market," said Jeff Folick, chairman and chief executive officer of Bravo Health. "Although the industry is facing significant changes, we remain dedicated to providing people with Medicare access to a high quality, affordable health care option."

Folick credits the company's success to its ability to meet beneficiaries' health care needs while managing care effectively. For example, the Bravo Health Advanced Care Center is an innovative, state-of-the-art physician practice designed to be an extension of the member's primary care provider, giving members access to appropriate care when and where they need it. Working hand in hand with Bravo Health's participating providers, the Center complements the care members receive to improve overall efficiency and quality.

Additionally, Bravo Health's Network Quality Improvement Program (NQIP), a special voluntary program for primary care providers, aims to improve the quality and appropriateness of health care delivery by supplying network providers with meaningful clinical information and practical guidance. The program has been successful in helping Bravo Health's network providers care for members in the most timely and impactful way.

"Bravo Health has always been focused on providing specialized products for people with Medicare and Medicaid," added Folick. "Placing the provider at the center of patient care enhances our ability to manage care efficiently and enables us to continue to offer such valuable products to our members."
